WTO Releases International Trade Statistics 2009
The World Trade Organization (WTO) recently released "International Trade Statistics 2009," a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in world trade. The report provides details on trade in commercial services by category, and merchandise trade by product.
According to the report, world exports of commercial services reached $3.7 trillion last year, an increase of 12% over 2007. Transportation services accounted for 24% of the total, while travel accounted for 25%.
