The Research Center in Business coordinates a national network on service research. Topics include:

An ongoing service project is:„ Getting Benefit of Romania’s competitive potential in the field of services” a research grant, which is financed by Romanian Government. This project has the following objectives:
-
theoretical knowledge related to services
-
the estimation of actual service developments in Romania, and regional differences in relation to the European Union;
-
Analysis of services industry key indicators (identifying the competitive and comparative benefits for Romania);
-
understanding the impact services have on the economy, including a better evaluation of services role in knowledge economy;
-
the development of a methodology to evaluate the effects of service liberalization;
-
identifying Romania’s competitive potential in the field of services.
